One window or two?
Both work. On a tall window, mount the Vantage high as the lookout and the Bask lower as the bed. Or give two rooms a spot each.
Do the two pieces stress the glass together?
Each mounts independently on its own rated suction set. The load never stacks on one mount.
What if a suction cup loosens?
Two things cause it, and both are fixable in a minute. Grease on the glass: wipe the spot with rubbing alcohol, not just water, and let it dry before mounting. Cold glass in winter, which stiffens the rubber: drop the cups in hot water for two or three minutes, dry them, and press them on while they are still soft and warm. Owners who do this report months of hold between resets. If it ever comes off anyway, the Holds-On Guarantee covers you: full refund and a free replacement mount.

It arrived today. Was assembled in about 10 minutes, and the cat won’t get out of it! It’s very soft and very solidly made. My cat is 12 pounds and fills it completely. (I don’t know how a 40 pound cat would fit. It says it can hold a 40 pound cat. 😂) I can’t get it to flip up, but if he won’t get out of it, that may never be an issue. 😂
