What it needs from the room.
This is a wide fixture: 42 inches across, which is a long run above a mirror and too long for most small vanities. Measure the mirror first, then the wall. It takes six E26 bulbs at up to 60W each, and none are included, so add those to the order somewhere else before it arrives.
Check these before you order
- Measure your mirror width first. A 42 inch fixture over a much narrower mirror overhangs at both ends and reads as a mistake.
- Confirm there is 42 inches of clear wall with no cabinet door or window trim in the way.
- Buy six E26 bulbs before it arrives, rated at 60W or less, in the color temperature you actually want.
- Check your existing wall box position, because the fixture mounts to it and the box needs to sit near the middle of the run.
And who it is not for.
A bathroom with a wide mirror or a double vanity, where one small light leaves the corners dark. Metal and wood with glass shades, so it reads as a considered fixture rather than a builder fitting, and all the mounting hardware comes with it.
It is wrong for you if your bathroom is small or your mirror is narrow, because 42 inches will dominate the wall and overhang the mirror at both ends. It is also wrong if you were hoping to plug it in: this is a hardwired wall fixture and it needs an existing wall box and, in most cases, an electrician.

No. It takes six bulbs on an E26 standard medium base, at a maximum of 60W each. Incandescent, LED and CFL all work, so the color temperature is your choice.
How wide is it really?
42 inches. It ships in a 42.1 by 11 by 7.1 inch carton weighing 10.7 pounds, which is a good guide to how much wall it will occupy.
Does it come with everything to mount it?
All the mounting hardware is in the box. It does not come with a wall box or wiring, so you need an existing fitting point.
