A 19.7 inch shade is the size that works over a small dining table or in the middle of a modest room without dropping into anyone’s eyeline. It weighs 8.4 pounds, which most ceiling roses take, and it needs four E26 bulbs at 60W or less. The bulbs are not included and neither is a dimmer.
Check these before you order
- Measure the table. A 19.7 inch shade suits a table around twice that width, and looks lost over anything much larger.
- Check your ceiling height and where the bottom of the shade will land, so nobody walks into it.
- Order four E26 bulbs, 60W maximum each, and decide the color temperature before they arrive.
- If you want it dimmable, buy the dimmer separately and confirm your bulbs are dimmable too.
And who it is not for.
